Disability Support Worker - Casino, NSW

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced NDIS Support Worker to support a young participant in Casino, NSW.



What you'll do

· Support participants with personal care, daily living tasks, meal prep and medication prompting in line with their NDIS plan

· Assist with community access, transport, appointments, social and recreational activities

· Follow participant-centred support plans, behaviour support plans and house routines

· Use safe manual handling techniques including hoists, slings and transfers where required

· Document shift notes, incidents and progress against goals in the provider's system

· Work respectfully alongside families, support coordinators and allied health professionals

What you'll need

· ONE of the following: Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support (Disability), Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Ageing Support, or equivalent – PLUS at least 6 months paid experience supporting people with disability

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain before first shift)

· Current First Aid & CPR certificates

· Manual handling competency (hoists, slings, transfers)

· Australian work rights and a smartphone for shift bookings, timesheets and shift notes

· Full Australian driver's license and comprehensively insured car
